Hi.
I’ve read a whole number of ‘about’ pages on blogs; some are awesome, some are terrible, some are pretentious, and some are miraculously all of these things at once. I, myself, have had a few goes at doing one, but I never seem to get it quite right, and it ends up sounding terrible with an air of pretentious – Which, in my opinion, is the worst combination of the above.
So I’m not going to write anything about me in here. Or, at least, I’m not going to write much…
The vital stats are that I’m a 24 year old English Language graduate from Cardiff University, and I’m currently working in the bustling city of London, living with my girlfriend of 5 or so years in Putney. I love the country side, having lived there most of my life, and will be returning there when the time is right. For now London has me by its vice-like grip and I’m loving every minute of it.
I’m a geek to the core, which is clearly juxtaposed to my greener roots. Me and technology get on pretty well, a lot better than we probably should do. I love all things with a power supply, and I have a creative and inquisitive mind which is pretty much what led me to pursue a career in the creative industry(s), specifically down the digital path way. I’m an aspiring film producer, even though this aspiration will never be realised, and I’m constantly thinking of cool sketches (often comical) in my head, but shall never be a comedian.
I suppose I have a limited attention span, given the large number of things that I’ve done and then neglected in my life. Specifically I love fire spinning with poi and staff, martial arts, general keeping fit, hill walking, climbing, frisbee and chillaxing (it is a sport, I don’t care what you say).
Thats about it from me. I hope you like the blog and if you want to get in touch to chat be it social media, digital marketing, or how to survive in the city with a latent lust for green pastures and quiet brooks, hit me up on the eeemail or twitter. Either that or you might find me at any one of the digital meetups in the city, specifically #themeet140 and #techmap. Aspirations to get to a #ldnblogclub at some point, but the bank only stretches so far!
